Reader comment on item: Ahmadinejad Bans Western Music in Iran

Submitted by Josh Goldstein (United States), Dec 24, 2005 at 05:31

In view of Iran's ban of western music my heavy metal band named The Mullahs from Hell has decided not to perform in Teheran. We are changing our name to The Idiot Imams so
that we can perform in all the other middle eastern countries. We are having trouble getting
bookings. Would it help if we were to decide to do heavy metal and punk music in the style
of Iranian music? Can you help us get bookings?
