The Triangle Question

I had recently read your article pertaining to the possibility of reconfiguring Israeli borders in a final status agreement in order to swap the recalcitrant and unwanted population of the Traingle to a future Palestinian State, and found myself fiercely disagreeing with your conclusion and those of whom you cited.
The Israeli Arab (read: Palestinian) reticence to become part of a Palestinian State de jure stems not from attachment to Israeli comforts or freedoms, rather detachment from pre-48 Palestine not merely physically but lawfully would represent a de facto end to their efforts; indeed, struggle to subvert and destroy Israel from within. By collecting an Israeli paycheck, Israeli diplomatic perks, and unparalleled support from various Deep State-adjacent tentacles of the Israeli establishment such as the courts the task of slowly inflicting a death-by-a-thousand-cuts on the Jewish State both legitimately (giving anti-Zionist lectures and the like in both allied and hostile nations) as well as illegally (see: Mavi Marmara (read: an act of explicit treason)).
This phenomenon is not confined to the ministerial level, being that the Israeli Arab population does on the whole identify as Palestinian and wave not a blue and white, rather red, green, and white flag with pride. To believe that they have any feelings of pride for a State founded, frankly, on their displacement and defeat is naive and rather rose-tinted in perspective.
