No wonder Islamic countries become 98% Muslim

Reader comment on item: May Zulhaidi Omar Convert to Buddhism?

Submitted by Prashant (United States), Feb 25, 2012 at 05:11

Dear Dr Pipes:

No matter how justified or unjustified be the reasons why this young man wants to leave Islam, the fact remains that Islamic Malaysia is trying to force how he should think. It is not a surprise that most Islamic countries become 98% Islamic. With Allah's blessings and Prophet's recommendations they raise the cost of becoming/remaining non-Muslim so high that people find it easier to just become /remain Muslim. Such is the modus operandi.
