DP rightly refers to the military junta which had overthrown king Farouq to be Islamist connected. He neglects to mention they had all been either Nazi party activists or sympathizers. The junta welcomed Nazi war criminals to Egypt, and began a missile program based on Nazi scientists. The feared muhabbarat (internal security/intelligence) was created by Nazi operatives. The Islamist-Muslim brotherhood-Nazi connection is strong, undying, and with US help, will continue to thrive.
