Indeed, like virtually every denial by any Islamic group since Sept 11, it rings hollow; lacking any substantive denunciation of terror. What is shocking is that even with the terse, unfeeling, "diplomatic" language in which it is conveyed, it gathers applause from intellectual non-muslim sources.
