Polo Democratico in Colombia - A left wing party and by no means representative of the country´s opinion

The Polo Democratico is a left wing party in Colombia and by no means represents the current government´s excellent relations with Israel. The current government has a 70% approval rate among colombians.
This claim "...stressing his country's support to Syria with regards to regaining the occupied territories." is by far an exaggeration.
The Polo has some members that belong to the extreme left .
The correct name of the person you mention in your article is Carlos Gaviria Diaz
