OBAMA? HAMAS?

Reader comment on item: Israel's Dilemma: Was the Gaza War a Choice or Necessity?

Submitted by mariaha-13 (Canada), Apr 9, 2009 at 14:53

The Hamas started a fight they couldn't win. Israel should have leveled the whole place and been done with it. There is NO WAY the Hamas will accept a peace treaty. The Hamas wants ALL of Israel. When it starts again, and it will, I hope that Israel doesn't quit until they're all dead. There isn't 1 single DECENT motive in what they are trying to do and they get no less than what they deserve for their arrogance.

That there are civilian casualties is inevitable in any war and there would've been less had the Hamas not made hiding amoung them a way of war. A way to go more unnoticed. You can't store ammunition and bombs in hospitals and schools and not expect the other side to go after them. Poor Gaza? NO. They made their choice and coose badly. The Hamas, like all others of their stripe, living in peace isn't their aim. CONTROL, GREED, and being KING of their own little domain.
