Mr Pipes,

Everything I know about Imam Al-Amin is that during his prison term and conversion he became a changed man. With all due respect sir, Christian clergy men came to his side in this most recent accusation. He changed a whole generation of people towards a non-violent agenda of self reform, education, and help. He was not a preacher of a fire-brand Islam. Check out the facts on his influence while currently incarcerated. And let's not forget that there was an inherent bias against him by the Georgia police on account of his violent past.
