The West and the MSM have been hoodwinked into believing that because Fatah is not visibly "foaming at the mouth" to destroy Israel, they are moderates, vis-a-vis Hamas.
But, in reality, Fatah and Hamas are like anti-freeze and arsenic: both can kill you, but not at the same rate.
It boggles the mind that the West still perceives Arafat -- the Devil himself; may his name be erased from memory -- as having been a "peace partner" with Israel. No amount of facts seems to assuage this brain-dead delusion.
"Peace" in the Middle East is a term whose meaning is unlike any other in the rest of the world. For Israel's multitude of enemies, "peace" means the total elimination of Israel.
"A peace partner for Israel" takes its rightful place among the most insidious oxymorons in human history -- right betweem the phrase on the gates of the Nazi death camp, Auschwitz, (Arbeit Macht Frei, "Work meansFreedom") and the famous phrase from Orwell's book 1984, "War is Peace."
I would caution everyone to take a step back and analyze what are the underlying meanings bandied about by Arab and Muslim countries who have or seek to have "trade relations."
A trade agreement and a recognition of Israel is not enough to effect a true, paradigm shift whereby Jews and Israelis are no longer hated by their "partners," but viewed as human beings having the same, inalienable rights are they do.
