I am currently reading the first volume of the Fundamentalist Project and they seem fully aware that fundamentalism pose a grave threat to people of freedom the world over. Given the content of this site I would say the reviewer is trying to downplay the study in the hopes that more people will not read it and get a clue as to how dangerous these groups are, particularly American Christian fundamentalist as they have already done great damage to the American political system and helped to render the Constitution null and void.

While Islamic fundamentalist are certainly a world wide threat to peace and security and freedom they do not have the unfettered access to our government and are unable to write law that the Congress will rubber stamp into actual law. However, the reviewer here should not worry too much about many people seeing this publication as my local library would not order it as they claimed it was out of print and was too scholarly, as in people are too dumb to read it, but fortunatly I have a library card to the local seminary library and am able to access the full works.

But I suppose it is important to be trying to discredit the work at this time as some Americans are finally starting to catch on as to how deceptive the Christian is although personally I think it is way to late. The damage has already been done.
