A Clear And Present Danger
Reader comment on item: Interview with Dr. Daniel Pipes

Submitted by Geoff (Canada), Nov 20, 2007 at 14:45

We need to thank Mr. Pipes for his courage to stand tall amidst the spineless mediocrity allowed to islam and its various adherents.

It takes no pleasure for anyone to stand up to defend our way of life against an oncoming threat.

However, like WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq...it is our obligation to OUR WAY OF LIFE, more importantly because the situation now goes much deeper than any other politico-ideological conflict.

And as always, MOTIVE is the underlying root of all action...and islam has deep-rooted motives at some of their radical levels (and yes, there is motive even at the moderate levels --let's not be stupid or ignorant to discount moderates...history shows this over and over again.)

Daniel Pipes (and admittedly, countless others) has stepped up to the plate...and so should we all to combat what can spiral out of control.

How to do it? Look at what Daniel Pipes is doing, and expand on that (I recently watched with GREAT DISMAY a few You Tube revelations on "islamic justice" which admittedly are extreme...but everything starts small, and if not confronted can in fact spiral out of control. QUITE THE WAKE UP CALL...).
