It is of no use to deal with the Arab-Israeli conflictReader comment on item: No Pipe Dream Submitted by Alain Jean-Mairet (Switzerland), Oct 23, 2007 at 13:21 The quite modest Arab-Israeli conflict is not at all fuelling the trouble in the ME, as so many people want to believe. It is just the contrary. It is the obsessive hatred of the Muslim world for Israel which is fuelling the Arab-Israeli conflict. Even if Israel would make peace with all present Palestinians, in two years time, you would have another war there with fresh jihadis. The Muslim world must be healed, and then the Arab-Israeli problems will appear at their real size and the solutions will be worked out normally. The target must be Islam. For Islam is the real hard problem, or contains the real hard problem. The rest is routine.
