I once was in an open straight forward discussion with a fellow Muslim, we were both asking one another questions concerning Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, my question to him was as follows: I f you were all alone in the desert, thirsty, hungry, tired and suddenly you have at a distance saw what looks like a Church or a Synagogue, now here's my second part of the question: Would you seek shelter in order to rest, recover, and say a prayer maybe? He paused for a few brief moments and said, What would you do? To his surprise I answered by saying: I'll just walk into the HOUSE Of GOD rest, recover, say a prayer in my own way of belief asking God to help me. Now let me return to my question: What would you do? He answered First of all I am not a Christian nor a Jew, so I'll take a rest , recover and say my prayer on the outside.
I explained by saying that's the difference between you and I, I saw it as the House of God whereas you did not, furthermore, if there was a Mosque instead of the Church or Synogogue to me it will be and remain the House of God.
