Dear Mr.Pipes,

One thing that has become amply clear from the behaviour of Mr. Musharraf is that while tactically he has aligned himself with the U.S.A. in its war of terror, he remains emotionally attached to his erstwhile Taliban proteges and the al-Qa'ida.
