Join me in responding to Borders Books:
Ms. Beth Bingham, I was late to note your announcement, distributed by the Associated Press, representing the Borders Group Inc. that, "For us, the safety and security of our customers and employees is a top priority..." and that, consequently, your stores would not stock the April-May issue of Free Inquiry magazine since it contains cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
I thank you for your concern, Ms. Bingham, for my safety, since I am an avid reader and book-purchaser. I will stay clear of your stores for safety and security reasons. My concern for those matters, unlike Border's, is for the safety and security of the Constitution of the United States of America. I suspect that if you search the shelves of one of your stores you may find it in print somewhere there. It is a truly offensive document to those who would yield, like Borders has, to tyranny.
