Pipes points were vindicated

This article vindicates the point of Dr Pipes that unilateral withdrawl of Israel from Gaza was not a good decision. In present article Dr Pipes is right that split of Palestines will prove to be a morale booster for global Islamist forces. Dr Pipes is totally right in his assessment that policy of rashness for elections in Palestine only gave an opportunity to global jihadi forces to get a state to strenghthen its base.

In several of his articles Dr Pipes has categorically stated that issue is not Al queada or any organisation, but the real issue is ideology of militant Islam . Now Islamist movement has entered in new era where they are eiether looking for a state with anarchy or state in their own to strenghthen their base. Victory of Hamas in Gaza has provided them a state with anarchy as well as an independent state to operate.

In last six years when world was successful in avoiding any major terrorist incident , militant Islamic ideology is facing danger of isolation but this development in Gaza could give them new energy with its goal to demolish only jews state.

In last six years President Bush has made several mistakes in war on terror, now it looks that his radical policy on middle east with a clear road map has also become victim of rashness.In process of democratisation of middle east western powers in general and America in particlular should give ears to suggestions of Dr Pipes, which is more credible and practical .
