The Gullible Western Civ.
Reader comment on item: [Mujahedeen-e Khalq:] A Terrorist U.S. Ally?

The MEK is just another special interest group who will deceive us into believing they are helping us or that they are "Pro-West" or "Pro-Democracy". We will get rid of their enemy, and then find we have just helped a worse tryant gain power.

One element of the tactics used by the Muslim Civilization in the Mideast conflict is deception. (Search: Taqiya,Taqiyya). Muslims will claim to be helping US when they are actually passing misinformation.

Scenario: The Muslims want to get rid of a secular govenrment (Saddam), so they attack the US and other Western targets. Muslims pose as friends of the West, and tie the secular government to the attack. The West believes them and goes after the secular government. The secular government falls. The Muslims unite, and combat the invaders. Eventually the Muslims will act as if they are going with the Western program by agreeing to participate in a Democracy. The West will assist in the formation of that Democracy, and once we are gone, the religious zealots will take over and another country will be run by religious extremists.

This and other similar scenarios will repeat until the West is bankrupt or loses the will to fight.

Their tactic of deception and changing sides to facilitate their own ends has been going on for thousands of years. It predates Mohammed.

It is mandated in the Quran that every Muslim has a responsibility to fight against disbelief (at what ever level they can)

They are very clever and we are very gullible.
