A good Muslim is a Muslim who believes that islam is deen al-haqq or the one true religion and the other religions are false and the world should all be converted to islam through peace (as the tablighees do in let us say prisons or on the streets of Queens NY) or through war as the jihadis believe and the 9/11 atrocity is a case in point.
Is there a difference between European Muslims and American Muslims in this regard? No. I still recall when al-Sheikh 3Abd al-Rahman the blind skeikh was led out of court in Brooklyn and all of those Muslim thugs shouting allahu Akabar and declaring that Amercia will be become Muslim it was indeed scary. And then you see the likes of Edina Lekovic declaring in 1999 that Usama bin Laden is a great Mujahid or holy warrior. Now in the post 9/11 period Edina (the wannabe Arab) distances herself from what she did write just 3 years before 9/11 and now she pretends to be a moderate Muslim whatever that is, but I suspect that she will be back to her old tricks if the 9/11 atrocity did not take place.
But I suspect (with our memories of the 9/11 atrocity fading) that in the next few years American Muslims will be back to their old tricks which are not very far from Europren Muslims.
I believe that the best way to deal with Muslims in Amercia is to make it clear that if one preaches hate or breaks our laws he/she will be taken to court, serve their sentences and then be deported to their country of origin and that the US will be sahri3a fee.
