I do not want to argue on this issue. I will leave that to historians who know more than me.

But in my opinion, Dayan and Begin mismanaged the booty re: West bank of Jordan and Sinai in exchange for social assistance from the American taxpayer.

Sadly, the MSM under-reports the financing Egypt receivesas a result of this treaty, and of course the millions that are unaccounted for from UNRWA to the palestinians.

For the sake of both countries, the US and Israel, Israel must become an independent country.

One sure way is to capture the Sinai and exploit its oil fields.

In so doing, build up the Sinai. Roads, towns, farms, R&D Centers ( software, hardware, medicine).

Sadly, Dayan the forgiving and naive socialist, as is his daughter, decided not to harness the fears of the Palestinian-Jordanians in June 1967.

Israel needs the territory to protect itself from Islam and the ... Russians, in 2007
