Turkish Men are Cute Liars

I have been married to a Turkish man for five years. We just had a son together a year ago, and that is when I knew I had to get out. He was very charming, very attractive, and very convincing.....but I realized my gut was telling me the truth. I became a shell of a person because I was very emotionally abused.

I have other friends who married Turks and I see the same thing with them. I think it is the drive to be successful mixed with their disgust towards women. Trust me....My husband did not show me his true colors until we were married. He took my self-confidence away little by little every day. I was a very confident person before I met him, so I would never believe that could happen to me. He is the biggest mistake I ever made. I hate prejudice, but I think their culture breeds bad men. I was told this by many people, didn't listen, and now I am a single mom. That is much better than being married to him. Your gut is always right!!!
