Usually I don't respond to people who are so ill-informed, but, in this case, I have to correct so many untruths in the comments from YNNA. If you're going to post or even make a comment, for heaven's sake, make sure the facts are accurate.

I was there during Pipes's, et al, speeches, not because I approve of what any of them are saying, but because it's important to listen to people you may not agree with, and I don't. So let me clear up a few things.

Greta Berlin IS NOT an artist. She's an activist and has been for well over 40 years. She has been to the occupied territories many times. Any of you bothering to GOOGLE her name plus Palestine, would see her extensive writings on the subject.

You don't have to agree with her, but she has put her body where her mouth is, has been shot by the Israeli military and injured by Hebron settlers, all for taking part in nonviolent demonstrations against an illegal occupation. I don't say it's illegal, the international community of human rights organizations says that Israel's occupation is illegal. ...

Again, it makes a big difference to tell the truth, so we can make up our own minds.
