Re. Jihad in JerseyReader comment on item: Jihad in Jersey Submitted by Bryan Taplits (United States), May 16, 2007 at 21:50 Dr. Pipes: I have nothing but respect and admiration for your powers of analyses and observation. But the second paragraph of "Jihad in Jersey" left me gasping in astonishment. How could someone so astute almost bait the terrorists-in-our-midsts into "not making a stupid mistake"? Recounting their previous errors not only lets them know exactly what they did that was so dopey that it led to the failure of their homocidal missions. But also, listing their stupid mistakes can be easily seen as a dare to get it right next time. I'm sure I'm not the only one to bring this up. So what is your conclusion to my comments-and why do you bait psychotic-maniacs who might not have acted on their psycopathy, but now will since they have been called "stupid"?
