Let Truth be the Criterion

Reader comment on item: Muslims for Pipes

Submitted by Joel Benjamin (United States), Jun 1, 2003 at 18:00

The primary criterion of whether Daniel Pipes should join the board of the United States Institute of Peace should be whether he has told the truth in his public negative statements regarding militant Islam. I believe he has and that his critics have not told the truth about him.

In a conflict between a man who is speaking the truth a throng of people who are distorting his record, Daniel Pipes should emerge the victor - if congressmen are doing their sworn duty.
