What a splendid compendium of Federal, State & Local corruption, misfeasance and malfeasance, all in one place. These horrendous stories have been increasing since the mid-60's [in California, at least] to the point where now, individuals attempting to have our laws enforced are considered malcontents or lunatics. I HATE being a loyal, tax-paying citizen who has fewer rights and "perqs" than any criminal illegal alien who crosses our border.

All of these problems seem to go back to one thing: an over-priced, overgrown, out-of-control Government which has become The People's worst enemy. If our feckless, craven, demagogic elected officials do not mend these situations, I believe American Citizens will soon become full-time practicing "orthodox scoff-laws." Truly, I'm 3/4 the way there myself, and have been trying to figure out an equivalent to the "Boston Tea Party" of our predecessors. [I believe demonstrations, marches, mob disobedience and street violence exacerbate].

Perhaps organizing a "Bring Back America" movement is in order. Congress does not need to be in session any more than 5-6 mos per year [90% of their "Staff" should be fired; Congress doesn't need 30,000 "Staffers"], and they should be compelled to spend that 5 months simplifying the tax code and/or rescinding ALL the "special interest" legislation they've passed for BRIBES. That ought to keep them out of trouble for the next 50-60 years.

"Cut their pay and send them home!" so they can get a "real job," shop in the same stores, suffer the same traffic jams, schools [PTA meetings], airport parking, and THEMSELVES cope with the costs, harassments and aggravations THE REST OF US MUST endure. These people live in such a "bubble," they cannot even imagine the way government affects our lives and compels the plight of children whose parents can't afford private schools or home schooling. If they had REAL JOBS which required more than one or two terms for their greedy, obscene tax-payer funded "pensions, life insurance & benefits," they might learn how to better budget their resources, and ours [taxes they extort from us].

Our Founders understood this clearly. Their entirely revolutionary plan was for representative "Citizen-legislators;" independent people who LIVED and WORKED in a community owners of small businesses or farms [they certainly didn't anticipate 90% LAWYERS in Congress], who would go to DC for 5 months per term to "represent" the needs of their communities and [to] weigh them against national and other "needs," thereby compromising for the legitimate needs of the country. They also didn't anticipate secret "earmarks," unduly benefitting their pals being slipped into legislation in the dead of night.

Government should legitimately provide border control, security [military, intelligence, police, fire departments], a body of Laws which are not "selectively" un-enforced, schools, libraries and parks [and MOSTLY, TO LEAVE US ALONE so we may: "..secure the Blessings of Liberty to themselves and their posterity"]. Social Security and Medicare are unavoidable at this point, but should be totally reorganized to encourage saving and personal responsibility.

Incentives have gotten totally screwed-up: those disciplined citizens who work hard, plan ahead, save, and succeed are penalized, while the profligate can "live high on the hog," borrow and spend recklessly, knowing they'll be bailed out - having their "chestnuts pulled out of the fire," regardless. Seems most of the rest of births, lives and deaths, should be taken care of by ourselves. And Immigrants, not at all.

The reason our elected government will not respond to the 70-85% of Americans who want the migration of ILLEGAL ALIENS STOPPED, PENALIZED and DEPORTED is, that they are no longer part of us. They have become a separate, privileged class whose needs, expectations, lust for power, rewards & remuneration depend upon coercively extorting from and subjugating us. They're even WORSE than Royalty [who were at least superbly educated and trained to a modicum of responsibility - "noblesse oblige"].

The media [supposed to be our "watchdogs,"] have exchanged vigilance for complicity; the "perps" they're supposed to be watching have bought them outright by giving them "in crowd" recognition, status and privileges, and inviting them to their parties. Media further enable these miscreants by seeing to it that we're totally consumed by the "crisis de jour," which distract us from any resolve concerning our need to TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY!

There will be no remedies for unjust laws, rewarding Illegal aliens, insecure borders, terrorism, over-taxation, profligate spending, compulsory education in G-dawfully horrendous schools, Judges legislating from the bench- [including wrist-slaps or outright release into our communities of hard core criminals, pedophiles, rapists, murders etc.], until we reorder priorities and replace this ignorant, arrogant, corrupt, unresponsive Congress. mariana
