Average Joe knows bestReader comment on item: Jihad in Jersey Submitted by Caesar M. Arevalo (United States), May 13, 2007 at 01:34 It is true that the government does not implement public policy based on what "the average Joe" thinks. Otherwise, issues like abortion on demand and homosexual "marriage," had long time ago been discarded. However, the problem for the government is that many of these "average Joe" are professionals: social workers, police officers, teachers, lawyers, college graduates, professors, military personnel, etc., who know exactly the problems America are facing and what the solutions are. Ultimately, the real solution would be replacing the current government officials with each "average Joe." I can predict that all the garbage of political correctness would be thrown out: diversity, sensitivity, tolerance, multiculturalism, homosexual propaganda, abortion in demand, social propaganda in universities, anti-war movements, Islam are religion of "peace" claims, and social welfare that punish parents and rewards unmarried pregnant teenagers.
