Thanks for participatingReader comment on item: My Disrupted Talk at UCLA Submitted by Roger Parian (United States), Apr 14, 2007 at 22:35 Thanks for participating and providing suggestions for involvement in the fight against Islamic domination. As always you were impressive in your low-key adherence to facts and rational thinking. The walk-out was simply a stupid, pointless interruption but was scary and made me appreciate your bravery. I appreciate you fighting against the imposition of Sharia in your own life and hence in mine and my loved ones lives as well. I don't think you can fight against a religious movement, so called radical or otherwise, without a complete and total commitment to the principle of separation of church and state. This applies to us and the conservative or neo-conservative agendas as much as to the countries with majority Muslim populations. Why we would ever sacrifice ourselves for, much less help establish, any country which declares that no law shall be passed which contradicts Sharia is beyond comprehension. I'd like to see you expound on this idea of church/state separation. I think it is the one demand that we should require before assisting any state, especially after we destroy it for threatening us.
