Moderate Muslim's Amazing Gems - Pt 2

Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: Saddam

Speaking of Iranians condemning Saddam about his atrocities, Iranians themselves are not innocents of perpetrating atrocities on their own people by a long shot. Ever since the arrival of Khomeni in power, Iranian government has killed/murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent iranians, if not millions, just to stay in power.

Even today they are hanging teenage girls and boys for minor or trumped charges, thereby terrorizing a whole generation of their own people. The case of Nazanene(Sp.?) is well known the world over. This poor innocent teenage girl was scheduled to die by hanging last year for the "crime" of defending herself and her cousin from the hands of a rapist by killing him with a knife. She was only saved by the protests from the world body , UN , Amnesty International etc. Though she was spared, but recently Iranians have hanged a few teenage gils. This is all done in the name of Muslim/Islamic justice!!! By the way, MM did you bother to sign the petition to save Nazanene? Or did she deserve to die per sharia law?

This qualifies Iran for genocide of their own people just like what the Sudanese Muslims are doing in Darfur. Iran's atrocities are probably on the same scale as those of Saddam. However, do Iranians get condemned by Muslims or their governments? Au contraire, Khomeni is held on the same level as Mohammad.

So much for your example of Iran condemning Saddam(like pot calling the kettle black).
