My plan is this
1. Set up free elections
2. Make it illegal for any priests, clerics, or any one who has ever been a terrorist combatant to serve in office
3. State that no one in the Wahabbi form of Islam cannot serve in office
4. Set up a constitution guarenteeing free speech, religion etc. Including womens sufferage
5. Take control of oil refineries and make sure the money only goes to legitimate services and fianances. i.e. free education, relief, medicine etc.
6. Set up a buffer between church (mosque) and state. Make sure religion does not interfere too much with the government.
7. have international monitoring teams monitor for and subversives. DO not include nations opposed to the war in Iraq IE: France
8. Set up free press in nation but monitor hostile anti american sediments and correct and criticize when it comes up from networks like Al jazeera
9. Women must be guarenteed total equality
10. Install free enterprise and start a program to encourage ME Entrepreneurs.
11. America should slash military aid to foreign countries and focus more on humanitarian aid. NORWAY GIVES 50$ FOR EVERY DOLLAR WE GIVE!! Let's match it and triple it!
12. America should apologize to the ME nations and other nations of the world for aiding dictatorships (which got us into much of this mess in the first place!) like in Iraq, Chille, and elsewhere. We should apologize and pay reparations to restore prestige.
13. America should create a policy to no longer give military aid to any non democratic country that hurt its citizens.
14. Deport all illegal immigrants
15. require an oath of allegiance to the US nation to all citizens and immigrants.
16. reduce amount of immigration each year.
17. make a resolution recognizing Israel as a legitimate nation based on archeological evidence and past treaties and make a resoulution not supporting that Israel give up land for peace and commiting suicide. However cut or at least cap military aid to Israel. Most Jews I know even on the right are against any military aid and only want to be recognized as a state. Focus more on a little humanitarian aid. some are okay with this.
18. Allow Israel to fight terrorists. Give only friendly criticism for collateral casualties but all in all support their actions.
19. Palestinians in the west bank should be given the opportunity to emigrate to another country. If they wish to remain they must be loyal to Israel and be enitled to equal rights. Further more Israel must ban Segregation in settlements...
That's my plan. I know I won't get a whole lot of agreement with it but it's a start.
