Moderate Muslims

Islamic scriptures (koran and hadees) makes obligatory on all muslims to spread islam and to fight /destroy the ones resisting it. All who refuse to convert except believing jews and christians, are to be killed. The believing jews and christians can be spared if they agree to pay Jizya (non muslim ) tax humbly, and follow the strict dhimmi laws imposed on them by the muslims.

Now you have to define who is a militant islamist and who is a moderate muslim. If you are a muslim than you have to believe in the above and act, which Khomeini, Bin laden, Mulla Omar and others have done and are doing. Even a peaceful believer, if you call him a moderate muslim, can contribute to the above ideology through moral and financial support, directly or indirectly. Who then is a harmless moderate muslim? Is he the one who only believes in some parts of islam and not in the others? If so then he is not a muslim at all.
