Encyclopedia of Islam and the word Kafir

If you examine an Arabic language dictionary you will find that the word kafir means: unbeliever and nothing about covering anything

I have no trust in the reliability of the Encyclopedia of islam. It is also amazing about how much nonsense I hear from Pakistanis that know no Arabic and are out to spread the religion of the Arabs and in the process pretend to know Arabic and make things up as in the case of the wrod kafir and that islam and salam are one and the same or that Jihad does not really mean holy war.

The worst translations of the Qur'an are those written by Pakistanis the likes of Yusuf Ali. It is poor and very tendentious.

As for Michel: I feel sorry for him.
