Reader comment on item: My Testimony before the House Subcommittee on Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations
in response to reader comment: There are many types of Israelis. We are no more homogenious than people in the USA

In searching for the latest Wall map, I came upon this very informative site, please visit it:

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Peace/fence.html

Here are some statements from the website:

Since the fence is not permanent, it is possible that it could be relocated, or become unnecessary if a peace agreement were reached, in which case a political settlement could be reached.

When the Palestinians stop the violence and negotiate in good faith, it may be possible to remove the fence, move it, or open it in a way that offers freedom of movement.

Israel has similar barriers along its borders with Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. In fact, a fence already surrounds the Gaza Strip and not a single suicide bomber has managed to get across the Gaza barrier into Israel.

One can hope that the same will be said when the Wall is completely built - amen.
