Christian Zionism (Judeo/Christian) Talmudic?

in response to reader comment: Christian Zionism

This nation certainly at one time had a strong Judeo/Christian flavor, I would not go so far as saying the nations leaders were such, but certainly the greater (common) population favored the moral and ethic base. However as far as the Talmud, I doubt more than 1-in-100,000 in America know anything about the Talmud. What began the base for this country was more the oral/written Torah (old Testament) and the New Testament. In fact some of the sage's (opinions) within the Babylonian Talmud might be a little shocking.

Taken that the great majority of those who immigrated to the new land (America) were Protestant, it is very probable that the guide of most first Americans was the Old and New Testament, also being that which forged the laws and morality of this nation. In actual truth, Christianity (is) a Jewish religion, and the Gentile believer then spliced (into) the family of God, as God always wanted one people... with a people (chosen) for that purpose. Our Bible tells us God says this is happening because of the obedience of the chosen. I guess this leaves the question of who are the chosen. One thing for certain, if you are relying on the Christian Zionists to tell you, you are in big-big doo-doo.
