I don't believe the Christian Zionists want (under Zionist secular/minority control) to see Jewish returning to the State of Israel for the reason that it fulfills prophecy, but instead to somehow rush Armageddon and the return of the Messiah. Perhaps in their minds they believe that they will then be part of the ruling class. You see God in prophecy says in every place you read about this gathering (of the scattered back into Covenant and Israel), that it will happen (after) the Messiah comes. Until this time, also every place you read, the chosen are still the rebellious people of whom God still has turned his face. The remnant-elect are gathered in repentance from the nations and return to Israel and God during the time of Desolation.
The dark side of Christian Zionism is evident in one leader most Christians know, who in Washington recently gave a speech full of slander and misinformation. In it he tells approx 3000 Christian leaders (being led astray) that the President (Hitler) of Iran (with his nuclear) wants to "wipe Israel off the map", a deliberate fabrication and lie being repeated by almost every US-Media outlet in the nation. The actual quote paraphrased is that the Iran President wants to see the "regime (Zionist) in Jerusalem cease." People need to plug the term "Israel Wipe Off Map" into a websearch and get Media (outside of America) reports, that break down the President's statement into language even a Christian Zionist (should) understand.
