I'm impressed with each article posted on this topic. But most thankful for the clarity of Joshua and Sofa. I can find no flaw in their reasoning.
Someone said, " If the Arabs laid down their weapons today there would be peace in the Middle East, and if Israel laid down her weapons--Israel would cease to exist."
We all have belief systems that tend to cause us to take sides. My belief is that Israel has, not only the right to exist, but the right to exist in peace. Imagine the many millions of Islamic fanatics who disagree with all of us, and who are determined to kill Jews, why, because they are not Islamic.
Maybe we should all take a deep and determined breath. Islamofacism is real and a threat to world peace and stability. As we American citizens debate who has a right to exist, it is time we look in the mirror. Islamic fanatics are growing in numbers and military strength. Today we argue about Israels right to exist. Are we to argue about our own survival as well? No! Now is the time when we must pull together against a common foe, a religion of hate and terror. It is time we put Islam on notice, we see your goal and it is not ours. It is time we spoke with one voice. A voice that says that Israel has a right to exist. We must make it clear that the politics and hatred of Muhammad was foretold, and it's demise as well. The current struggle will have an outcome. Which outcome will we choose, one we fight for or an outcome imposed upon us?
