Some statistics in regards to "the muslim migratory attack" here in the USA
Submitted by Michel (United States), Feb 22, 2007 at 17:35
A few highlights of my statistics research
Hispanics are by distance the fastest growing segment in the USA. ( Immigration and growth)
Over 90% are Christians, mainly Catholics.
Islam grows at a lower rate than for instance Buddhism or Hinduism with about the same percentage of believers per capita estimated at ~ 0.5% each
Top 5 in Immigration at presen (Per Director of BCIS) : 1) Mexico, 2)Phillipines 3) Vietnam 4)El Salvador 5)China, (hence Muslims being an irrelevant part)
Neither in Immigration nor population growth are Muslims leading, but Hispanics, mainly of Christian belief, lead by a distance. (USA specific)
"Migratory attack" , at least here in the USA by Muslims is hence and in fact inexistent.
Current trends and projections considered, America will not see Sharia Law, but most likely soon have to formally legislate Spanish as official second language.
As far as the US is concerned, published statistics (US Census bureau and other reputable institutions) proove our doomsday people 100% wrong.
Now that we have pragmatically dispensed with the first panic attack, can we now rightfully assume that maybe the same voices denying the existance of Moderate Islam are equally wrong, as they were, when warning us of a future USA terrorized by Sharia law?
You be the judge.
Is the statement "beyond reasonable doubt"? I'd say, there is sufficient circumstantial evidence to dismiss this position too.
Kind of amazing how the whole foundation of the Islamophobes crumbles, when faced with simple facts and numbers, which in addition corrobate, why we have seen so little evidence of the Ugly Muslim.
Some fanatics undeniably do exist, but there are simply too few of them in the big picture to dent the fabric of our society. So stop the whining and clamoring about Muslims and help promoting improved assimilation and a more homogenuous populus. Help revive our own moral values and we'll be untouchable.
See the big picture and stop wasting yours and our time on blips, as Islam is definitely one of the minor challenges the USA at least faces.
