consider this...Reader comment on item: My Testimony before the House Subcommittee on Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations Submitted by Joshua (United States), Feb 22, 2007 at 00:05 ...Can you imagine if the debate on the validity of Israel was going on anywhere else in the world, with any other country? Imagine three witnesses to congress, each presenting a case for Polish independence, and poeple get upset and start villifying congress for not having the Germans present to dispute their claim. How did any country come into being; if we apply this insane argument to the rest of the world, we'd have to give Turkey back to the blasted Hittites, China back to the Mongols, etc. The fact that millions of Jews exist, had a country, didn't, got it back, lost it, and now have it again blows my mind, and the fact that it has been so back and forth through history reveals to me that their is something about Israel that is not to be denied.
