Identifying a threat is not enoughReader comment on item: Documentary Exposes Radical Muslim Rhetoric Submitted by Terry (European Union), Feb 19, 2007 at 17:33 The threat is identified. It is clearly framed. Countering it is another matter entirely. Open war has not been declared. It is there, for all to see, but the troops involved, are not in uniform, (except on our side) and their 'generals' skulking away. Terror works. After the Madrid bombings Spain pulled out of the coalition. The threat of reprisals caused other countries to pull out. It is time to start worrying. We cannot use that weapon, We would lose the very freedom and democracy we value so highly. They have no restrictions, and can pass off the most horrific attacks as justified, or not even committed by them. Even the cold blooded beheading of an innocent is a normal act, even approved of by Allah. How do we counter that?
