"...those Christian channels that fantasize about the 666 gang." You're beating a dead horse, partner.

The apocolyptic millenarianists pretty much shot their wad in the US in 80's. Or sure, they're still up in the hills of W. Virginia and the small towns of OK, but, generally speaking, in the US, they've played out. In their place has arisen the media-savvy TV hucksters who preach a feel-good version of something only remotely related to classical Christian doctrine. Your 666 gang is about as dangerous to civilization as the Fraternal Order of the Elks. And they never were a threat to anything but the dreams of small children.
