You are correct that God will bless the chosen and bring them back from the nations where they are scattered. A time is coming when the Messiah comes to gather the remnant-elect to the Land they were Promised, however (when) God said He would do this is very important. Many have looked forward to this time, many have passed away without seeing it, if we believe the State of Israel today is seeing this regathering then much of prophecy is missing.
You see the promise is not only for the living at this point in time, the promise includes the righteous who passed away, even before seeing the Promised Land. Find a good Rabbi and have this explained to you, I suggest a True Torah Jewish Rabbi who has not rejected the Torah for the promises of man. If you want, read my Christian study article both on present day Israel and Israel of prophecy, then see what prophecy has been omitted. I do not believe you will miss the important scripture that shows how far astray from Gods word many have traveled.. The article web-address is:
