unfair exchange

Reader comment on item: [Brandeis University President Jehuda] Reinharz, Israel and Me

We have vigilantly managed the market place to ensure the free exchange of goods and the maximum profit, all except the market places of ideas. Most notably our education centres and news papers lack every sense of competition and the proof be in the mediocrity of ideas for exchange. There is little profit and poor exchange considering the cost of todays education. And one can purchase for 25 cents or spend 75 cents, and get the same drivel produced by todays media.
