Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: For Michel and Occam's razor and the Aristotelian problem!

Submitted by Michel (United States), Feb 9, 2007 at 19:35

To Occam's R - This principle is part of epistemology, and can be motivated by the requirement of maximal simplicity of cognitive models. However, its significance might be extended to metaphysics if it is interpreted as saying that simpler models are more likely to be correct than complex ones, in other words, that "nature" prefers simplicity.

The simple explanation, according to the mountain of material I found concerning "Moderate Islam" is, that it exists.

My knowledge about Islam is in fact minimal - never stated other wise.
(weren;t you the guy who believed who had me figured out as Muslim?)

I believe everything you tell us about the Quran - you can quote that thing as any bible scholar I ever met doing the same with the Bible. You sure know your book.

I do not believe everything, what you tell me about Muslims.

How about commenting on the articles, instead of avoiding the issue? But so much more fun patronizing others, isn't it?

But then again, my "educated" , friend, I guess, quod licet jovi, non licet bovi, right?

Wanna know more? Or need a translation? Maybe you should translate it into Arabic....so we all can bend over and admire the Berlitz.
