Poll results in USA and Canada will be similar to those in UK

Reader comment on item: Documentary Exposes Radical Muslim Rhetoric
in response to reader comment: 50% of British Muslims are Islamist? What about Canadian Muslims

M. D. Anthony , you wrote: "A Sunni friend of mine told me at dinner back in 1995 that he was worried they were (then) losing their children. "Your children"' he said, "have pictures of rock stars on their walls, our children have posters of Martyrs on their bedroom walls, something is very wrong". He continued saying "I do not know what the future will bring but it worries me" He was speaking of Canada and continued, "For you see we now believe(1995) that 80% of our youth support the concept of Jihad and terror".

In 2006 Canada perhaps woke up, not to imported terrorists but; terrorists of the home grown variety. If it was feared in Canada by Moslems in 1995 that 80% of their youth were supportive of Islamic radicalism then, what is the percentage since 911 ?? Where are the Canadian statistics?"

This conversation with your friend is very telling of the situation of many Muslims in the West. But, one has to ask your Sunni friend, who is teaching this hateful speech and violence against non-Muslims to their children. These Muslim children are sent to the mosques to learn their religion from age 5, 6 or 7 and they are learning their religion as taught by imam or mullahs of the mosque. The concept of jihad and other religious but hateful teachingsare drilled into their impressionable mind from this early age.

How can your Sunni friend then complain about losing their children when they do nothing to curb these mullahs teaching the young minds the real Islam. This is the situation in the UK, and then the Britsih government as well as the Muslim population wonder about the home grown jihadists who are born in their country. Well, this is what the children have been taught by the imams who have been invariably imported from Saudi Arabia or Pakistan and they continue their homeland tradition of spitting venom against the West and all non-Muslims wherever they go. The same type of imams are coming to Canada and USA also, and its only a matter of time we will see the home grown jihadists in our countries.

I think the results of the poll taken here would be very similar to those found in Britain. We are already seeing this in the behavour of Muslim students in the universities where they disrupt any discussion of Islam by reputed lecturers such Dr. Pipes. Do we need more proof of home grown jihadists in our countries??
