Reflections On British EducationReader comment on item: British Government Worries about Radical Islamic Teachings at Universities Submitted by Philip W. Chapman (United States), Feb 5, 2007 at 20:33 Given the recent comments in British Mosques detailed by private citizen's undercover operations, are you surprised the issue of balanced teaching in Britain's Universities might be considered a problem? It is easy to bash Christains on the radical right but seemingly much harder for some people to call radical Islamic adherents to task for sabre rattling, anti-democratic, anti - Christian, anti- Buddhist, or anti-Jewish statements. Such statements when taken to their logical conclusion might lead individuals to turn planes into kamaikaze cruise missles or subways into hell on earth. The first civil right seems to be safe in one's person, thus being able to travel or to work without fear of murder .
