For Mo and the 9/11 atrocity and suicide in Islam!

My dear Mo, here is your lesson for the day about Islam and suicide.
The Qur'an is silent about suicide. Even in Q4:29 it says: "and do not kill _yourselves_" The word yourselves or anfasakum was read in the Muslim masora as: do not kill one another. So the Qur'an is not much help here.
If we turn to the hadith, if you believe the hadith that is, it is clear that Islam indeed condemn suicide. But again no hadith can be linked with the historical Muhammad with great certainty (do you want to know more?)
Now Malise Ruthven states that: "if suicide (in Islam) is subsumed in an act of martyrdom it becomes a different matter."
He then quotes a famous story in Ibn Hisham redaction of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah where 3Awf bin Harith at the battle of Badr says:
"Oh apostle of God" 3Awf asked the prophet "what makes the Lord laugh with joy at his servants/slaves" to which the prophet replied: "when he plunges into the midst of enemy without armor" upon hearing this 3Awf drew his mail-coat and threw it away. Then he seized his sword and fought the enemy until he was killed" (see Guillaume's translation of Sirat Rasul Allah page 300)
There we have it our dear Mo that according to this very single tradition suicide is allowed in islam if the mujahid is fighting his enemy real or imagined and it explains the crashing of big planes in tall buildings by pious Muslims the likes of muhammad 3Atta.
What is even more absurd is that accroding to the tradition Kadduri wrote that of all the pillars of islam (hajj, fasting, shahada, praying, almsgiving" "but non of them (Islamic pillars) would enable the believers to gain paradise as surely as participation in jihad" suicide and all.
But the real final nail in the coffin of your lame arguments is that according to Mark Lilla: "there is no spontaneous generation in religion" This means that the likes of Muhammad 3Atta acted based on Islamic teachings including the above tradition.
So how come you did not know about this tradition ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer?
But like I say: Muhammad was a poor theologian and an Arabian warlord and a caravan raider.
And shame on you for not condemning the 9/11 atrocity
Now the real question is: is Muhammad 3Atta enjoying your Allah's little paradise ghulaman (boys) and all as he was not into the 72 vrigins thing.
