We manage our emotions wherever we go, so it is critical for one to really analyze his inner voice, whether it is being control by negative emotion before each comment or decision is made.
One must remember
A man who is subject to pride should think of his faults. If he is proud of his virtue, he should seek out what is mean in his character. And if his faults are so well hidden from him that he thinks he has none, let him know that his misfortune will last forever, that he is the worst of men, that he has the worst faults of and is the least perceptive. That is what really happened to Bush administration and Blair.
Most people, however, are ignorant of the faults of their souls, and might see the mote in their brother's eye but not to the beam which lies in their own".
I believe, there are many Muslims have had read negative comments here about Islam, but they prefer to remain calm.
A man who does not see his own faults is a fallen being; he comes to be so from baseness, turpitude, stupidity and feebleness of intelligence, lack of discernment and understanding, to such a point that he is no different from vile men and it is not possible to drop lower into degradation that he has. Let him save his soul by seeking out his own faults and turning attention upon them instead of his pride and the fault of others, the doing of which harms him after in this world or the next.
To speak of the faults of others (label ISLAM as evils) is a serious shame which is absolutely not acceptable. We are human, turn round and look at yourself. When you perceived your own faults you will have found the cure for your pride. Do not compare yourself with someone (a very minor group of Islam, terrorists) who has more faults than you do so that you find it easy to commit faults and to imitate wicked people.
On the contrary, you should compare yourself with someone who is more virtuous than you, then your pride will fade away. Then you will be cured of this hateful disease which gave birth in you to scorn other people when there are doubtless better people then you among them.
Anyone who comes to you with lies will go away with truths; that is to say anyone who repeats to you lies which he attributes to a third person will make you beside yourself with rage; you will respond to him, and your response is the truth that he will carry him.
The evils of ego
A bad company - "When the ego is roused by a desire, you go and pursue it". As long as a person finds anything good in the self, that person will never be able to see his faults. Only one who blames the ego at all times will be able to see his faults. I did not find a single good work from my ego.
Did you find a good result from Bush administration?
Nevertheless, you are one of the best contributors in this forum. However, it seems the anti-Muslim exposed their weaknesses in this forum that benefits Islam as a whole.
"The greatest enemy is in the self.
