Reader comment on item: El Al, "Goy" Airline?
in response to reader comment: God may have a special covenant with the Jewish people but ....

You really think that religion is obsolete or optional or something. I don't.

Your definition of religion as a personal relationship with G-d is one that I do not subscribe to. Your definition of morality as being only referring to relationships between people is is again one that I do not subscribe to.

You can apply any definitions you wish to whatever you want. The fact is that a significantly large number of people disagree with your definitions including me. So I am not sure what the utility is of using those definitions. The purpose of using words is that they have agreed upon definitions.

So let's define my beliefs this way if it makes you happy. I subscribe to an integrated set of beliefs and behavioral standards that encompasses all of human experience including science, technology, morality and religion. I subscribe to the idea that fragmented standards produce conflicts among the fragments.

The story about the plane landing was a joke.

And I am sorry that you believe that we will not going to go forward and get a Sanhedrin again.

One question from the last round. If it is with the Hareidim's right to boycott El Al, why did you start up with them?
