Islam is the problem - not religion

Reader comment on item: How the West Could Lose
in response to reader comment: Arrogance

CanadianChris calls me arrogant, because I have written that muslims, who want to live in the west, must change their religion.

But muslims have already more than 50 countries to live in, so what is the problem ?

Instead, CanadianChris wants to put a restraint on all religions, so they cannot play a role in public affairs. But how will he do this, if a religion influences millions of people by telling them, what is right or wrong ? And how will he force a religion like islam, which wants a state governed by religious laws, to submit to his ideas of nonintervention in public affairs ?

And why will he put restraints on religions, which only spread their ideas by peaceful means and do not try to suppress other religions ?
