What I meant with mafia as an arab word, it's that actually it's true "mafia" is an arab word, as a matter of fact there was no trace of that in sicily pre-moors. Somewhere on the internet I had read this and I wanted to know if you read the same somewhere else.

Another question I have is this. Why when a (deluded) westerner converts to islam he changes his name? Is that mandatory? what happens to your western documents? do they register your name change?

I always read the same names for muslims (the most obvious mohammad, then hamza and others) even if those people come from totally different countries.

Is the name a good way to share a muslim from a non muslims, better than racial profiling?

Think about all the white muslims (converts or balkanians) that would pass unnoticed and the many middle eastern looking christians or jews getting caught.
