Pacifism: I have got mixed feelings

I am not a pacifist as such. But, we must be careful about going to war against other countries. Pipes points pacifism out as one of the enemies of the West. My position is as follows: if you go to war, make sure that you can win. Otherwise, it could be counter-productive.
