I hear what you are saying and I believe another 9/11 is on the way .America is a country that needs great force to push it into a fight. but make no mistake, when the moment comes America will fight and the left will be silenced . what I have been hearing on other sources on the internet, and on some news programs, is that the terrorists have infiltrated through the Mexican border and have brought with them between 4 to 6 weapons of mass destruction (of what type is unknown). Think of the ramifications of such a disgraceful and cowardly attack on the states.
The American government would feel very vulnerable and open to attack
The concept of surrender is a non starter because there is no one to surrender even if the government were so inclined.
America, with the world's most powerful arsenal would use it, but how?
One of those think tanks in Washington did a study about this exact scenario, these are their thoughts
If America was badly attacked and the enemy could demonstrate that they could reproduce the same attack at will, the American government would do one of the following:
To surrender or negotiate would mean that America would have to accept economic blackmail of an intolerable kind because the Arabs would control the oil and energy is the blood of America.
The American government knows and understands the Islamic threat better that they lead us to think and they know surrender would not mean a cease fire (look at Spain), the enemy would feel emboldened and attack again, and Arabs are primitive and understand only force. The way president bush sees it, why make the fire worse at home, doesn't forget, there are 8,000,000 Muslims in the USA.
So we have the attack option left, attack who ?
The answer they came up with is that the American government would have no choice but to go on a grand tour and show a large scale use of force.
Potential Islamic targets would be: New York City -symbolic and financial
Washington -seat of government
Chalet North Carolina -naval base
Miami -naval base
Los Angeles -west coast financial center,Hollywood
San Diego -west coast naval base
Las Vegas -because they think its evil
Potential American targets: Mecca -center of the Sunnis and symbolic
Saudi Arabia would be attacked with neutron Bombs (they said), to save the oil
Iran -the main player
Syria -support player
Egypt -population hates America
Jordan -population hates America
Pakistan -to destroy atomic arsenal before musharraf Loses control,
Those would be the potential primary targets even though Egypt and Jordan are current allies, only the governments are friendly, the populations are very anti American.
Secondary targets would include any country that might choose to take advantage of Americas weakness such as china or Russia , although nuclear strikes would not necessarily be an option but they would be made to understand that America will defend it's self and it's national interests .
But before America goes on it's rampage or even during , their will be a police state or martial law will be put into effect across the USA to limit any further attacks.
Their would also be a crack down on tourists, illegal aliens, visa holders, ECT...
In the long run some laws and even the constitution might have to be brought up to date to protect the country, so it's not all bad.
You see it's not a question between America backing down or fighting, its choice between fighting and being attack further at will by a merciless enemy bent on world domination. Don't forget Iran is making its move in a very calculating way because they have chosen to fight with America because they want America to kick their butt (but not too badly) they believe they have to fight America to go to the next stage in their prophecy. president bush knows this . In other words, they don't want America to back down, but as usual Muslims always under estimate the response, I think they are wrong this time too.
